The approval workflow ensures that all content is reviewed by an authorized team member before it goes live. This is especially useful for agencies and teams with multiple content creators.
How It Works
- A team member creates a post and submits it.
- The post enters Pending Approval status.
- An admin or designated approver reviews the post.
- The approver can Approve (the post proceeds to scheduled or published) or Reject (the post returns to draft with feedback).
Enabling Approval Workflows
Approval workflows are available on Professional and Enterprise plans. To enable them:
- Go to Settings → Team → Approval Settings.
- Toggle the approval requirement on.
- Define which roles require approval (e.g., team members but not admins).
Tips
- Approvers receive notifications when new posts are waiting for review.
- Use the Calendar to quickly spot pending posts and review them before the scheduled time.
